It is very nice when they greet you at the front gate and bring you immediately behind the scenes.. The divemaster gives you a briefing of how they recycle over 35,000 gallons a minute of saltwater. How they make it, how they catch fish from reefs and then bring you throught the aquaraium and give a brief tour.
Then again behind the scenes to the laboratory where they study and nurse animals back to health and also the food processing area, Tag and release area, etc.
then upstairs to the loft. where they have a big screen presentation of what to expect diving in the aquarium.
then off to the changing rooms which were huge with nice showers and lockers.
there, waiting for you is a bag with your name on it, your wetsuit, fins, etc. You don your wetsuit and head off to the aquarium !!
Once inside the aquarium , you are greeted byt he actual dive master , videographer and staff that readily help you with your gear, which is already setup waiting for you. They use 62 cu. ft. tanks , ( i still had 1000 psi after a 40 minute dive ) are plenty of air. they have a nice sand tiger shark , a few other reef sharks, turtles, rays, lots of reef fish and of course spectators. It was a cool feeling to finally be "that person" inside the tank.. Everybody pointing and waving.
Overall was a good experience, you dont feel so bad about the price tag of 126 bucks (with my SSI discount). The money supposedly goes to wildlife research and preservation..
It s alot of fun and i'd recommend it.. No waves, no surge, great for beginner divers..

Always thought it would be fun to dive the large tanks.
